Fear not. All hope is not lost.

Today, we all need English in the workplace in one way or the other. This is especially applicable to final year college students who are looking to seek out a place in this world through a job, business or higher education.

Here are some tips that can help you prepare for the big day:

Step 1: Prepare, Prepare, Prepare

It is said that you must look the best you can on two days of your life, “The day you go for an interview and the day you get married.”

Remember to look your best for the day. Formal attire is the best outfit for an interview. The formal outfits are usually different for men and women. You may want to research and find out the suitable dress-code for your context.

Remember to research the job role well before the interview. Have a clear understanding of the tasks you are expected to do and ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the work along with the skill set to be able to fulfill the role.

Remember to research the company. Look for essential details like the company values, vision, key achievements in the recent times. Try to understand the company culture and if you would be a fit for the company. Have a good understanding of what the company does to generate a revenue, the client base etc.

Step 2: Anticipate the interview

Step 3: Practice, Practice, Practice
